Corduroy morning in Trysil

Imagine having the slopes almost to yourself, before anyone else - untouched after the night's preparation with short and efficient lift queues. The amazing feeling of setting off downhill with all the turning room in the world and feeling the steel edges cutting through the snow. This year, the experience has been expanded so that everyone can participate!

Corduroy morning - an amazing experience

You can take part in this unique experience every Wednesday and Saturday between 8 February and 19 April 2025, as well as Maundy Thursday and Good Friday.

The offer is included in the SkiPass.

What is Corduroy morning?

Corduroy morning, or Tidligski if you prefer, is when the ski resort opens at 07:00 for a limited number of guests. This gives you two fantastic hours of skiing until the resort officially opens for the day.

The perfect morning

  • Meet at one of the lifts (see list below)
  • Shorter lift queues
  • Freshly groomed slopes
  • Plenty of turning room
  • Sunrise
  • Skiing
  • Hotel breakfast at SkiStar Lodge Trysil

Could it get any better?

Extended Corduroy morning offer

Many people who have taken part in Corduroy mornings in previous seasons are used to only skiing on Høgegga, the resort's toughest black slopes. This year, on the other hand, more people will have the opportunity to ski down the newly prepared slopes as three lifts run throughout the morning.

All levels of difficulty are represented. Those who prefer red, blue or green slopes will find something to suit them - families with children can also join in the fun.

Høgeggaekspressen (H1)

For adrenaline junkies and experienced skiers, Høgeggaekspressen is a favourite. Here you get fast-paced skiing on the black slopes - perfect for those challenge seekers.

Fjellekspressen (T2)

This year Fjellekspressen takes over from Sindretrekket, which used to be a transport lift. This gives you access to blue and red slopes. Here you can enjoy a more leisurely pace - perfect for those who want a quieter start to the day. Should the weather present challenges, Sindretrekket will be ready to take over.

Stormyra (F7)

The bowl lift at Høyfjellssenteret has been a practical transport lift to Høgegga in the past, but this year it runs throughout the Corduroy morning period and provides access to several green slopes. Want a highlight of your family's journey? Beginners and little adventurers can play here in the morning, and those looking for a challenge can navigate their way from the top station to Høgegga.

This could be the best experience of the year for the little ones and can be combined with torchlight skiing on Wednesday evening.

Slopes in Corduroy morning

Although all slopes connected to the operating lifts are open, we recommend sticking to the illuminated slopes, especially before sunrise. This provides the best conditions for enjoying the magic of Corduroy morning in Trysil.
