Trysil – Corduroy morning

Enjoy freshly groomed slopes with short lift queues and plenty of space to carve as the sun rises. From the 2024/25 season, Corduroy Morning is included in the SkiPass.

Corduroy mornings in Trysil have ended for the season, but we’re already looking forward to more magical early-morning ski runs in winter 2025/26.

What is a Corduroy Morning?

Corduroy morning means being the first on freshly groomed slopes before the lifts open to the public. It’s a special experience for both families and advanced skiers who enjoy quiet runs and perfect corduroy.

Expanded offer in 2024/25

Corduroy skiing was once limited to Høgegga’s black slopes. Last season, the offer was expanded with three lifts and slopes of all difficulty levels – opening up the experience to more skiers.

Open lifts in 2024/25

• Høgekspressen (H1): Black slopes for experienced skiers
• Fjellekspressen (T2): Access to blue and red slopes at a relaxed pace (replaced by Sindretrekket when needed)
• Stormyra (F7): Green slopes – ideal for beginners and families, with connection to Høgegga

Corduroy morning started from Fjellekspressen and Stormyra.

Tips for the best experience

All connected slopes were open during corduroy mornings, but we recommend staying on lit trails before sunrise.

On select Wednesdays, you could end the day with torchlight skiing – a magical finish to a perfect day on the mountain.
