Year-round accessibility in the mountains

At SkiStar, we want the mountains to be accessible to everyone. We offer a variety of activities as well as lodging adapted to different disabilities.

Please contact our customer service in order to get the best help possible.

Accessibility in Sälen, Åre, Vemdalen, Trysil and Hemsedal

SkiStar accessibility is all about making everyone feel welcome and having the best possible stay packed with memorable mountain experiences. We strive to provide a wide range of activities and want to offer an excellent service before, during and after your visit.

Priority Boarding - queue priority

Guests with disabilities are welcome to collect a Priority Boarding pin which gives them priority in the lift queue. Guests with a Priority Boarding pin may use our ski school entrances to go first in the lift queue. In order to get a Priority Boarding pin, you need to contact customer service at the destination you are visiting and present a personal attendant certificate or a medical certificate from a doctor, nurse or other relevant health professional when collecting your Priority Boarding pin.

SkiPass for personal attendant

SkiStar offers free SkiPass to someone accompanying a guest who requires a personal attendant due to an illness or disability, on presentation of a certificate proving your need for a personal attendant, such as a medical certificate. As a personal attendant, you can get your SkiPass in all SkiStarshops at our destinations.
