Travel by air

Travelling by air is fast and easy.

Fly to Stockholm and then on to Åre (Åre Östersund Airport) with SAS or BRA or fly with Jonair from Stockholm to Härjedalen Sveg Airport. From Åre Östersund Airport the distance to Vemdalen is about 120 km and and from Härjedalen Sveg Airport the distance is about 70 km.

Transfer

Shared transfers can be booked for all flights landing at Åre-Östersund (OSD) Airport on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 21 December 2024 to 27 April 2025. The transfer goes to Klövsjö, Storhogna, Vemdalsskalet and Vemdalen village, among others.
