Hovde Syd opens Christmas 2025
A family-friendly expansion of the Vemdalsskalet ski area is underway. Phase one of Hovde Syd opens Christmas 2025 and will feature green and blue runs.
First phase
The first phase covers an area of 11 hectares with skiing mainly on green and blue slopes, accessed by a button lift. A modern snowmaking system and lighting on the main slope will help ensure great conditions throughout the season.
Snow Park and Fun Ride
A family-friendly Snow Park is planned, featuring simple elements and jumps.
In addition, a Fun Ride will be built with jumps, rollers and banked turns – designed for both children and adults.
