Disc golf in Trysil

Take your friends and family disc golfing in Trysil. There are two different courses in the area, one in Fageråsen with 18 holes, and the other in Jordet with 9 holes. The 9-hole course is planned to become an 18-hole course by spring 2025.

Among the treetops and fresh mountain air, you'll find a disc golf course that can challenge even the most experienced disc golfers. The equipment you need for the course in Fageråsen can be rented at Fageråsen Handel. There are challenging holes among trees and water of varying heights, so take a look at the course description to make sure everyone has a good experience.

Disc golf in Fageråsen

Fageråsen Disc Golf course can be difficult with some climbing. Large height differences from holes 7-12 that were set up in 2022 are more demanding. It is therefore recommended that families with young children take holes 1-6, skip 7-12 and finish the course from hole 13.

How to play disc golf

The aim is to get the disk into the basket in as few throws as possible. The game begins with the first player positioning themselves on the mat, taking aim and throwing.

After everyone has thrown, the player furthest from the basket goes next. Walk over to where the frisbee landed, put your front foot behind the disc and continue throwing. Some players choose to use a marker, which is most commonly used in a competitive context.

When you throw the frisbee, you can do so standing still or moving towards the marker/disc. Usually it is allowed to move forward in the throwing motion, but if you stand closer than 10 meters from the basket, this movement can lead to extra throws in the calculation.

Once everyone has put the disc in the basket, you move on to the next hole, and the game continues with the player with the fewest throws on the previous hole throwing first. Udisc can be used here to control the number of throws per player.

If you're looking for more of a challenge, we recommend you try disc golf in Sälen.
