News! From 2 February 2025, SAS will fly from London to Scandinavian Mountains Airport!

The Scandinavian Mountains Airport is located between SkiStar's two ski destinations, Sälen and Trysil. You can fly here quickly and easily from several cities around Sweden and Europe, such as London, Groningen, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Aarhus and Aalborg. If you want to travel to Trysil, you can also fly to Oslo and then get a direct transfer.

News! SAS is expanding its flight capacity to Scandinavian Mountains Airport

Thanks to an increased interest in flights to the mountains, SAS is expanding its flight capacity to Scandinavian Mountains Airport by 75% compared to winter 2023/24.

Fly to Scandinavian Mountains Airport winter 2024/25

• London: Sundays 2 February – 30 March 2025
• Copenhagen: Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays 22 December 2024 – 20 April 2025
• Aalborg: Sunday 19 January– 16 March 2025
• Aarhus: Saturdays 26 January– 9 March 2025

Flying to Åre

If you want to travel to Åre, you can fly to both Östersund (Sweden) and Trondheim (Norway) from several cities, such as Stockholm, Copenhagen and Oslo. Once you arrive, travel to Åre is seamless with a direct transfer.

Östersund Airport is located between SkiStar's two destinations Åre and Vemdalen. SAS flies from Stockholm, Copenhagen and Oslo to Östersund where you can easily transfer to Vemdalen.
