Trail-descriptions Åre Bike Park - Trail

A brief description of Åre Bike Park - Trail's trails.

Trails in Åre Bike Park - Trail

1 - Kopparn - Blue

A fun short loop starting from the point where Mineralen crosses a link trail. A short climb is followed by a series of fun downhill bends. Try letting go of the brake a little more each ride! The trail then climbs back to the start through a series of great turns. Cycle down via Mineralen or do another lap!

2 - Mineralen - Blue

A great trail that starts with a nice easy climb through a beautiful birch forest. This is followed by a long and sweeping downhill through the Sadeln area before the trail climbs back to the centre of Björnen. A wide, even, easy trail suitable for most cyclists.

3 - Valles Gruvgång - Green

A cycle trail for kids through an exciting wonderland.

4 - Dynamiten - Green

A short loop on a wide and even trail with some fun technical features. Ideal for young cyclists looking to get started with cycling.

5 - Tändhatten - Green

Begins at the ski tunnel under the road to Björnen and winds uphill on the ski slope before curving down via gorgeous berms through a beautiful pine forest. It's easy to do a few laps if you're up for it.

6 - Stubinen - Blue

Stubinen begins with a wonderful, undulating climb with great turns. For those who feel comfortable, there are some extra challenges on the way up in the shape of narrow boardwalks and alternative lines. Follow that with a breathtaking descent, full of sweeping berms and a magical flow. All topped off with a 90-metre wooden bridge in the middle.

7 - Graniten - Blue

Graniten begins with a short descent that turns off from Kopparn. Then you climb through the ski slopes to Sadeln and drop down again on a 1.5-kilometre-long downhill section. A flow trail with plenty of great curves and fun jumps and rollers which will put a grin on every cyclist's face. Waiting for you is a climb back to Mineralen with an exciting technical side track.

8 - Gnistan - Blue

A short, fun trail with berms and a series of great rollers for real excitement.

9 - Gruvpumpen - Green

Get yourself up to speed with the right riding technique on our short but fun pump trail located in the middle of the skills area. It is easy to ride, but not very easy to ride fast. Take an extra lap and see how you progress between runs.

10 - Gamla Fröåvägen - Green

A wide gravel track that takes you to the beautiful Fröåtjärnen lake and on to Fröå mines – the perfect destination for your ride.

11 - Flisan - Blue

A short but cool detour from Stubinen which is the perfect introduction to biking on narrower paths and single-tracks. Flisan also has some short, fun side tracks and jumps for anyone who wants a bit more of a challenge and the chance to try something new.

12 - Teknikbana - Green

A short circuit with various small obstacles where even the smallest cyclists can practise their skills.

13 - Spettet - Red

A technical trail that starts below the Crowded House and contains lots of tricky sections that will put your riding technique to the test.

14 - Hackan - Red

A short side trail to Graniten with some great jumps and exciting bends.

15 - SCHAKtET - Black

Challenging trail with high speeds.

16 - STÅNGGÅNGEN - BLue

Uphill trail that makes it possible to "loop" the "flowing" part of the Granite.

Pump track and skills area

In the heart of Björnen you'll find our large pump track, together with a skills area and a technical course. The pump track has a number of different lines that you can link together in lots of different combinations. Try it out and see how you can get that little bit faster each time around! Just next door in the skills area, you can hone your riding technique on a range of different see-saws, wooden bridges and small jumps.

For your safety, bicycle helmets are mandatory in all cycling areas.
