Shareholder discount all year round

As a SkiStar shareholder, you receive benefits during your mountain holiday at our alpine destinations in Sälen (Lindvallen, Högfjället, Tandådalen and Hundfjället), Åre (Björnen, Åre Village, Tegefjäll and Duved), Vemdalen (Vemdalsskalet, Björnrike, Klövsjö and Storhogna), Hammarbybacken, Hemsedal and Trysil.

Shareholder discounts on skistar.com, SkiStars App or skistarshop.com

The shareholder discount applies to you who own at least 200 shares in SkiStar. The discount also applies for the shareholder's family (spouse/partner and own children under 18 years):

  • 15% discount on SkiStar All Year
  • 15% discount on SkiPass/Bike- och TrailPass
  • 15% discount on ski school and and activities
  • 15% discount on SkiStar ski/bike rental

  • 15% discount on products at skistarshop.com and in our SkiStarshops and Concept stores

How do I use the shareholder discount?

Log in to skistar.com or the SkiStars App and the shareholder discount will then be automatically deducted at checkout.

The discount does not apply for

  • The shareholder discount does not apply to accommodation.
  • The discount does not apply to products/services/activities not operated by SkiStars or not booked at skistar.com.
  • The discount can only be used on regular prices and cannot be combined with other discounts.
  • Only individuals are eligible for the discount, not companies.
  • The shareholder discount does not apply to electronics on skistarshop.com and in our SkiStarshops or Concept stores.

How to Register Your Shares

To qualify for the shareholder discount, you must be a registered SkiStar shareholder at least 5 weeks prior to making your booking.

Here's how to register:

  1. Hold your shares in a VP- or ISK-account:
    • You must own a minimum of 200 SkiStar shares held in a VP-account or a securities account (depå/ISK-account).
    • Please note that shares held within a capital life insurance policy or pension account are not eligible for the discount.
  1. Register on skistar.com:
    • Create a customer account on our website.
    • If you are a Swedish shareholder and already a customer, please ensure your full personal identification number is registered under "My Page". If you use BankID to log in, your personal identification number will be automatically retrieved.
  1. Manual registration for foreign shareholders and minors:
    • Foreign shareholders: Please contact our shareholder services at aktieagarservice@skistar.com or +46(0)10 810 96 19, ten banking days into the month following your share purchase, so we can register your shareholding.
    • Minors: Guardians of minor shareholders should contact our shareholder services at aktieagarservice@skistar.com or +46(0)10 810 96 19 for registration.

Important notes:

  • Our customer database is updated monthly, approximately 10 banking days after the end of the month. Therefore, the discount may not be immediately available after purchasing shares.
  • For manual registrations, please allow for processing time.

By following these steps, you can ensure that you are eligible for the shareholder discount.

Note:

  • VP-account: This is a Swedish term for a securities account, similar to a brokerage account in the US.
  • ISK-account: This is a Swedish term for a capital gains tax-free investment account.
