Check out

Check out by 11 am at the latest. You can pay at the reception the evening before your departure and leave your keys on the morning of your departure.

Parking

Please do not park in the roundabout due to fire safety. We have a parking garage, please contact the reception for information.

Ski storage

We have a number of private ski storage rooms on the third floor of our ski storage room, with direct access to the ski slopes. Contact reception to check availability.

Bike storage

It is not permitted to store bicycles in the hotel rooms or apartments. Bicycle storage is available in garage P-2. The garage is monitored by cameras and is open 07.00 - 22.00. There is an extra charge if you bring a bicycle to the rooms.

WiFi

For free WiFi, connect to the Trysilguest network.

Fire and Safety

Download the VEA Fire Safetyapp to get a fire alarm directly on your phone. This app is especially useful for those with hearing impairments and others who do not perceive audible alarms. In the event of a fire alarm, your phone will vibrate, light up and produce an audible alarm adapted for individuals with hearing impairments.

Safe drinking water

In Norway, we have access to good water sources, which means we get good quality drinking water. In Trysil, it's safe to drink cold water that comes directly from the tap. The water can also be used for brushing your teeth and making coffee/tea, for example.
 It is not recommended to drink hot water directly from the tap.

Ventilation and temperature

On arrival at the room or apartment, the room key card is placed in the holder by the door. When the card is inserted into the holder, the ventilation system in the room is activated. It takes up to three minutes for the ventilation system to open/start the airflow, the same applies when the card is removed from the holder, then it takes three minutes for the ventilation system to close again.

From the moment the heating is turned up or down, it takes a few hours before it has the desired effect and the temperature in the room rises or falls. The temperature will continue to rise/fall even if you remove the card and leave the room. Only the ventilation is switched off when the card is removed from the holder.

Recycling

All waste must be sorted.

• Hotel rooms: Have bins for general waste. Bottles and cardboard can be placed next to the bins.
• Apartments: Have bins for general waste and food waste. Cardboard, plastic, and glass/metal must be sorted separately.

Recycling Room

Located on the 3rd floor. Take the west elevator, turn left through the door, and the room is on your left. The door is marked "Gjenvinningsrom/Recycling Room".

We are testing a new system in nine pilot rooms with separate bins for food waste, glass/metal, cardboard, and general waste. Rooms with this system are clearly marked with recycling information inside the door.
