SkiStar Cup - a classic is back

Ski the marked slalom course, track your results and earn medals in the SkiStar app. All participants are also competing for a wonderful Easter holiday in the Scandinavian mountains where you can take part in the big SkiStar Cup final!

This slalom competition has a long history that began back in 1978 when Klasse Möllberg created the legendary concept under the name SKISTAR*. Now the competition is back - in a modern and updated version!

*Later on, we took over the name and in 2001 we became the company SkiStar.

SkiStar Cup 2025 

The competition starts on 1 February 2025 and runs until the finals in April. You are welcome to practice skiing on the course now, but there will be no timekeeping and you will not be able to see any results until the competition has started.

Race start 1 February - here's how

  • Scan your SkiPass in the start area.
  • Ski the designated course.
  • Try to ski faster than the time set by our ski instructor in SkiStar Guides.

When you cross the finish line, you will receive your result directly in the SkiStar app and you will also see whether you have managed to win a gold, silver or bronze medal! This is then displayed as a digital pin.

Gold

To win the gold medal, you must reach the finish line with a time that is faster or 0-9% slower than the ski instructor's time.

Silver

The silver medal is yours if your finishing time is 10-25% behind the ski instructor's time.

Bronze

The bronze medal is awarded if you finish with a time that is 26-40% behind the ski instructor's time.

To participate, you must be over 7 years old, have a valid SkiPass and a member profile in the SkiStar app. Read more about SkiStar Member >>

You can ride as many times as you like, but for safety reasons only one person can ride the course at a time.

We reserve the right to close the course if conditions are too poor or if the quality of the course is no longer in good condition.
