Uppåt Väggen by EQPE

Uppåt Väggen by EQPE on Easter Saturday is a recurring tradition in Hundfjället, Sälen. A prestigious, fun and alternative competition in the classes Lilla Uppåt Väggen - for children, Uppåt Väggen Youth and Uppåt Väggen.

A crowd-pleasing competition

The competition involves getting up the legendary Väggen slope on foot and down again on skis or snowboards as fast as possible.

Even if you don’t take part in the competition, being part of the spectator crowd on site is just as much fun.

Little Uppåt Väggen (Up the Wall), Easter Saturday 11:00

A shorter version of Uppåt Väggen (Up the Wall), where kids up to 15 years old can participate. No pre-registration is required. Entry to the competition area at 10.45, everyone starts at 11 am. 

Uppåt Väggen Youth (Up the Wall), Easter Saturday 12:00

Teenage race, 11-15 years, where they will run half the wall. Here, youths compete against each other for real, with timing and placements. Pre-registration by a guardian is required. Maximum 60 participants, first come first served.

Uppåt Väggen (Up the Wall), Easter Saturday 13:00

Classic race for adults over 16 years. The participants will run up the Wall and then ski down through four gates. Combined start and first through the goal! Maximum 80 participants, first come first served.
