Ski Test Weekend Sälen
Ski Test Weekend Sälen marks the start of the winter season in Sälen! The weekend offers the first skiing of the winter and, as tradition demands, a big product test with leading brands.
Ski Test Weekend Sälen always takes place on the first weekend in December and marks the start of the ski season in Sälen. Spend the days, and even part of the evenings, enjoying the first corduroy turns of the season.
Ski-, snowboard- and product test
The product test is located at Gustavtorget and all the leading brands are represented. Test this year's new skis for children and adults, snowboards, goggles, helmets and other accessories. The ski and product test is free and you can test as much as you want during the weekend.
Product testing is open on the Friday and Saturday.
Welcome to SkiStar Lodge Hundfjället
SkiStar Lodge Hundfjället is located at the foot of Hundfjället's slope, with the West Express chairlift directly outside the entrance. The hotel offers playroom, several restaurants and bars, swimming and spa. Trollskogen and the children's area with the ski school is almost right outside the door. SkiStar Lodge Hundfjället delivers maximum relaxation with a focus on personal hospitality.

The hotel is located at the foot of Lindvallen's lifts and slope, right next to the popular cross-country skiing trails. Just a stone's throw away is Svansjön lake, this summer's main activity area, where you'll find the climbing park, padel and bike trails. The heart of the hotel is Lodgebaren (The Lodge Bar), which boasts an open fire and comfortable sofa groups. Located next to the hotel is Experium, the experience centre with water park, bowling, spa and more. 28 April-25 May we are closed for renovation. Welcome back this summer!
Restaurants and cafés in Sälen
In Sälen, you'll find around 50 first-class restaurants with specialities ranging from game to Italian. In Sälen there are also a number of cosy cafés.

Treat yourself to some R&R time after a day on the mountain. The number of guests at Sauna World and spa is limited; you therefore need to pre-book your visit. You will receive information on payment methods when you book your visit.
