It is easy to get to Hammarbybacken by public transport and the options are many. However, there are very few parking spaces, so feel free to leave the car at home if you have the option.
Bus: Bus number 74 is the closest stop to Hammarbybacken. Get off at the Sickla Quay stop and then walk towards the MAX restaurant, turn left on Hammarby Allé and continue until the end of the street (two blocks), from where you will see the slope. Total 5–10 minutes' walk.
Subway and "Tvärbanan": The Green line will take you to Gullmarsplan, where you must change to "Tvärbanan". Got to Sickla and get off at Sickla Quay. Walk towards the MAX restaurant, turn left on Hammarby Allé and continue until the end of the street (two blocks), from where you will see the slope. Total 5–10 minutes' walk.
Young adults travel for free with the green SL card.
Do not forget that all young adults in the Stockholm region are now offered free travel by public transport this summer with the new green SL card. Young adults born between 2004-2010 travel for free and the summer holiday ticket is valid around the clock from 1 June to 31 August.
